The Religion, Psychology, and Culture (RPC) program aims to equip students with advanced knowledge in religious studies and psychological sciences for academic and teaching careers. This interdisciplinary curriculum explores personality theories, pastoral theology principles, and critical analysis of theological and psychological methodologies. Participants must cultivate expertise in interpreting human nature through both social scientific and religious lenses. Prospective students should possess foundational knowledge in religious studies, theological history, scripture, systematic theology, ethics, and philosophy - either through previous degrees (B.A., M.A., M.Div., or M.T.S.) or doctoral-level coursework. Those entering with fewer than 24 credit hours in these areas may require additional time to complete their Ph.D. requirements.
