An additional 12 credits are allocated to the secondary field. Students may transfer up to 24 credits from previous graduate work. The remaining 12 credits are reserved for dissertation research.
B. Certification dates for language requirements and subsequent exam dates. The first modern language must be certified by the start of the second semester, while the second must be completed by the beginning of the fourth semester. The application should demonstrate how the selected languages relate to the research focus. Any extra languages and their verification process will be detailed in the dissertation proposal.
