The Asian Studies program provides two primary degree options: an Asian studies major with specializations in China, Japan, Korea, and South Asia, along with an Asian American and diaspora studies major. Additionally, students can pursue minors in Asian studies, Chinese language and culture, Japanese language and culture, Korean language and culture, or South Asian language and culture. Qualified juniors may enroll in the Asian Studies Honors Program.
We aim to equip students with fundamental knowledge for thriving in Asia's dynamic professional landscape or securing spots in elite graduate programs. Our distinguished faculty are experts in Asian languages and interdisciplinary cultural studies, delivering a comprehensive curriculum that includes Asian American and diaspora studies.
All candidates for admission must present transcripts of work completed in high school.
