Students pursuing Asian Humanities select a primary language focus in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, South Asian, or Southeast Asian languages while developing comprehensive cultural understanding through coursework spanning at least four Asian regions. This dual approach equips learners with both linguistic proficiency and the contextual awareness needed to interact meaningfully with diverse Asian cultures. Graduates emerge with the language capabilities and cultural insights to pursue careers across multiple Asia-related sectors such as commerce, banking, international trade, media, foreign relations, arts organizations, NGOs, teaching, and research.
