Employers highly prize strong communication abilities, especially in today's era of global corporations that seek bilingual professionals. Nonprofit roles and government positions also emphasize the need for excellent communication skills, foreign language proficiency, and a comprehensive grasp of globalization.
USU's global communication program stands unique in the state - an interdisciplinary, practical curriculum that teaches students about diverse cultures while preparing them for successful work in our interconnected world. The program develops fundamental communication competencies including interpersonal skills, cross-cultural understanding, persuasive techniques, and active listening. Drawing from multiple academic fields like history, political science, and ethics, the coursework delivers comprehensive cultural knowledge.
