The Acting concentration helps you hone your skills through diverse coursework covering acting methods (such as Stanislavski, Meisner, and Viewpoints), voice training (including Linklater and Skinner techniques), physical expression, and on-camera performance. You'll participate in numerous productions spanning modern dramas to Shakespearean works—not just on campus, but also through partnerships with Milwaukee's top professional theaters like Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, First Stage, and Skylight Music Theatre.

Qualification Requirements
All applicants whose native language is not English must provide proof of English proficiency in one of the following ways:
An approved test score that meets the requirement for regular or conditional admission.
University study: Completion of at least 18 months of full-time, for-credit academic study (approximately three semesters) at a recognized or accredited institution of higher education whose language of instruction is English immediately prior to enrollment at UWM.
Secondary/high school study: Proof of completion of the last two years of secondary/high school at an institution whose language of instruction is English immediately prior to enrollment at UWM. TOEFL IBT - 79 or higher, TOEFL PBT - 548 or higher, IELTS - 6.5
