The Computer Sciences Department provides Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy programs in computer science. Key research areas span artificial intelligence, computational biology, computer architecture, graphics, networking, cybersecurity, database systems, human-computer interaction, numerical analysis, optimization, performance evaluation, programming languages and compilers, systems research, and theoretical computer science. The Graduate Advising Committee (GAC) offers guidance to all graduate students in computer sciences, excluding those who have achieved dissertator status.
International applicants must have a degree comparable to a regionally accredited U.S. bachelor’s degree.
