The Feminist Studies Graduate Program emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches. Our curriculum centers on Intersectional, Decolonial, Indigenous, Queer, and Transnational feminist perspectives when examining gender, sex, and sexuality both in the United States and globally. Core faculty members bring expertise from diverse fields such as Black Studies, Latina/o Studies, Asian American Studies, and area studies including Latin America, East Asia, and South Asia. Their research spans multiple disciplines including Anthropology, Cultural Studies, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. Beyond our core faculty, approximately 100 affiliated and adjunct faculty members from various university departments contribute their specialized knowledge and course offerings to support our students.
