The Mathematics Department provides four specialized tracks tailored for students pursuing pure mathematics. These programs foster expertise in abstract reasoning, precise logic, analytical skills, clear communication, and scholarly writing. Mathematics students gain versatile abilities applicable across diverse fields, from programming to investment banking to education.

The Philosophy track enables students to blend mathematical and philosophical studies. Mathematics classes teach formal reasoning techniques, while philosophy courses supplement this with approaches developed through philosophical history. The department particularly recommends complementary studies in Philosophy of Science or Mathematics.
