The Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Sustainability equips students with the knowledge and skills to address environmental and sustainability issues. This interdisciplinary program blends environmental science fundamentals from both natural and social sciences with instruction in communication, writing, legal studies, critical analysis, and cutting-edge sustainability research. Students can specialize in one of four tracks: Environmental Policy and Law, Environmental Communication, Business/Nonprofit Sustainability, or Pre-Environmental Education. The curriculum culminates with a capstone experience connecting students to practical applications through projects, internships, or research. A central focus of the program is the interconnected relationship between human and natural systems.
Student must have a High School Qualification.
Due to limited testing availability from COVID-19, the UW will accept the Duolingo’s English Test for autumn 2021 applicants. A minimum score of 105 will be required for admission. The TOEFL iBT special home edition and the IELTS Indicator at home exam will also be accepted for 2021 international freshman applicants.
