The Early Childhood and Family Studies (ECFS) program offers a comprehensive approach to exploring child development, early education, and family dynamics through multiple academic lenses. Earning a Bachelor of Arts in ECFS equips students for professional roles in preschool education, childcare administration, policy development, family counseling, and community health services. This degree also serves as a foundation for advanced studies in teaching, human development, and related fields. At the University of Washington's College of Education, the ECFS curriculum incorporates cutting-edge research to help students promote healthy child growth and drive systemic improvements. The program provides two distinct academic tracks within UW's College of Education for degree completion.
