UVA's Landscape Architecture graduate program pushes students to envision innovative landscape systems through intensive research, creative design exploration, and emerging technology applications. We dedicate ourselves to equipping graduates with critical thinking skills and global perspectives, empowering them to build a more inclusive, sustainable world while advancing landscape architecture practice. Our diverse student body includes individuals from various academic disciplines, both with and without previous landscape architecture training. Students craft personalized learning paths by blending their unique undergraduate experiences - whether design-focused or not - with their intellectual passions and abilities during graduate studies. This approach cultivates a vibrant, multifaceted community united by a shared goal: developing groundbreaking solutions for resilient built environments. The Path 2.0 Master of Landscape Architecture is a two-year professional degree requiring 61-62 credits.
