Electrical engineering graduates leverage their academic training to excel as practitioners and innovators in electrical engineering and various other domains. They evaluate, create, and deploy inventive solutions for challenges involving electrical and electronic devices and systems. Working effectively in teams, they communicate clearly and engage responsibly with peers, clients, employers, and the broader community. Electrical engineering spans a wide range of disciplines with uses in numerous fields. When planning your ECE, technical, and unrestricted electives, we advise consulting with your faculty advisor to explore how to blend application areas and coursework to achieve your personal and career objectives. All electrical engineering students start with a core foundation, supplemented by technical and unrestricted electives tailored to specific application areas like digital systems, communications, microelectronics, arts and drama, and environmental sustainability.
