The HDSP graduate program in the FCS Department aims to promote human wellness and growth through interdisciplinary research. Throughout their lives, people evolve and acquire knowledge within family units and broader environments such as communities, educational institutions, professional spaces, and other social frameworks. Examining these developmental pathways demands insights from diverse fields like economics, sociology, psychology, health sciences, and political science, among others. This graduate program equips students with multidisciplinary tools to analyze, evaluate, and perform research on crucial challenges impacting human potential and holistic well-being across physical, mental, social, and economic dimensions.

2) A grade of B or higher in an undergraduate statistics course (from any department).
3) A bachelor's degree from a fully accredited college or university.
4) An undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 (for all undergraduate work or for work completed during the last two years of study, whichever is higher).
5) A 500-word essay describing your career goals and interest in the program, including potential faculty who could serve as your advisors.
6) Three letters of recommendation (preferably from faculty members).
