The School of Computing conducts image analysis research across diverse fields, with a primary emphasis on biological and medical studies while also maintaining substantial initiatives in growing domains like geosciences. These projects frequently involve cross-disciplinary collaboration and national partnerships, offering students exceptional exposure to research methodologies, engineering principles, and the dynamics of team-based scientific inquiry. Each year, around 100 graduate students enroll, evenly distributed between the M.S. and Ph.D. tracks. With selective admission criteria, the program maintains a competitive environment for its limited available spots. Applicants are assessed holistically, considering both their academic achievements and research capabilities.
