Our program trains nursing professionals for top-tier practice, providing students with the expertise to lead in intricate healthcare environments, foster innovation, and implement optimal care practices.
To explore our DNP Program further, we recommend attending an info session. We'll cover the application procedure before transitioning to breakout sessions with faculty and current students from various specialties. Schedule and specifics will be shared. The BS-DNP program spans three years (eight consecutive semesters) and is exclusively full-time. Family nurse practitioners deliver primary healthcare across all age groups. This specialty track takes three years to complete, including two summer terms.
As a Family Primary Care doctoral student, you will:
Gain abilities to shape health policies by engaging with professional groups and policy initiatives locally, nationally, and internationally.
Study evidence-based methods, quality enhancement, and organizational leadership.
Master advanced coursework covering disease processes, urgent care, intensive care, medications, diagnostic methods, and patient assessments.
Engage in diverse clinical rotations across outpatient facilities.
