The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program trains advanced practice nurses at the most advanced educational level in the nursing field. Acknowledging that doctoral-level education is essential for advanced practice, this curriculum fosters collaboration across and within disciplines in both classroom and clinical environments. This 36-credit program emphasizes practice leadership and provides two specialization options: clinical leadership and organizational leadership. The clinical leadership path equips advanced practice nurses (APNs) for work in population health and healthcare systems, while the organizational leadership path develops professionals for executive roles within healthcare organizations.
