Our nursing program trains professionals to excel in advanced practice roles, providing students with the expertise and competencies needed to take leadership positions in intricate healthcare environments, foster innovation, and implement evidence-based approaches to enhance patient outcomes.
To explore our DNP Program further, we recommend attending an informational session. These sessions cover admission requirements before transitioning to specialized discussions with faculty and current students from each track. Event schedules and specifics will be announced. The BS-DNP curriculum spans three years (eight continuous semesters) and is exclusively offered as a full-time course of study. Graduates become pediatric primary care nurse practitioners at the doctoral level, delivering comprehensive healthcare to children in community environments, serving as either primary providers or specialized clinicians. The Pediatric Primary Care specialization develops from a robust nursing science framework to address healthcare needs from infancy through adolescence. Instruction emphasizes pediatric treatment, clinical interventions, and family-centered care principles. This specialization requires three years to complete, incorporating two summer terms.
