TU's post-master's to DNP program offers advanced practice nurses (including CRNAs, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, and certified nurse midwives) the chance to enhance their expertise in translational research while implementing meaningful improvements in clinical settings. The program features dedicated local faculty committed to student achievement and community impact.
This DNP completion pathway expands upon students' prior education and professional experience. Participants will take foundational DNP research and theory classes along with courses focused on developing their DNP projects. The curriculum includes 500 clinical practice hours dedicated to executing and finalizing the DNP project, aligning with the standards outlined in the AACN's Essentials of Doctoral Education for Advanced Nursing Practice.
