Seattle University's Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion (APNI) pathway enables college graduates without healthcare experience to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and become advanced practice nurses. Seattle University establishes the essential groundwork for a meaningful career shaping healthcare leadership. This full-time program spans four consecutive years. The initial five quarters concentrate on pre-licensure coursework to qualify you for the Registered Nurse (RN) examination. Subsequent doctoral studies over three years develop your expertise as an advanced practice nurse. Completing all four years successfully awards you the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
After fulfilling pre-licensure requirements and passing RN examinations, you'll advance to doctoral coursework aligned with your chosen specialization.
