This program is designed for future school administrators and education policy specialists. Participants can select from three specialized tracks to equip themselves for leadership roles within school systems or educational institutions. Each concentration delves into the distinct challenges, methodologies, and skills required for impactful and fair educational leadership. The curriculum additionally emphasizes how cultural norms, legal frameworks, community involvement, and institutional policies contribute to creating equitable learning environments for every student.
In their final term, Educational Leadership candidates participate in complimentary workshops to ready themselves for the TExES State Principal Exam, including a no-cost practice test. These preparatory sessions contribute significantly to our candidates' exceptional state exam success rates. Furthermore, our faculty maintain strong partnerships with area school districts, administrators, and principals, with our alumni securing roles from assistant principals to superintendents across Bexar County school systems.
