As you progress, you can specialize in one of five tracks: Developmental and Regenerative Sciences, Ecology, Plant Biology, Premedical Sciences, or Biology 7-12 Teaching. You'll select your concentration after admission during academic advising. This versatile degree opens doors to various career paths in biological sciences, healthcare, research, industry, and education.
The Integrative Biology Department aims to educate, motivate, and support students and regional communities through an extensive curriculum, innovative teaching methods, and cooperative research. We examine life's intricate systems and the elements shaping them, investigating biological processes across all levels - from molecular to cellular, organismal to ecological, and global scales.
The Developmental and Regenerative Sciences (DRS) concentration within the Biology B.S. program offers in-depth knowledge about organismal development, tissue regeneration, and repair mechanisms. This specialized track is administered by the Department of Neuroscience, Developmental and Regenerative Biology.
