For those aspiring to teach in modern EC-12 (Early Childhood through 12th grade) educational environments, pursuing an Equity and Education degree could be ideal. This program delves into becoming a culturally aware, community-focused change-maker through cutting-edge coursework and hands-on field experiences. The educational expertise and teaching abilities you'll gain will equip you to support varied learners in multiple school contexts. Classes are available through the Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching department, Bicultural-Bilingual Studies department, and other COEHD units.
To earn the EED degree with EC12 Special Education certification, you'll need a minimum of 122 semester credit hours, including at least 39 upper-level credits.
