The MSSW program involves completing 60 credit hours of academic work along with 960 hours of supervised field training. Students can choose between two specializations: Clinical Social Work or Administration and Policy Practice. Both concentrations provide numerous options to customize the program according to individual interests and career objectives. The core curriculum equips students with foundational skills for general social work practice while fostering professional identity. Coursework covers social work ethics, vulnerable populations, human development, organizational dynamics, social policies, and research methods. The program maintains a strong focus on serving diverse communities, promoting social equity, and contributing to professional knowledge, regardless of the chosen specialization.
