The Master of Science in Historic Preservation (MSHP) serves as the School of Architecture's flagship program for conserving built heritage. This curriculum provides students with advanced training in preservation studies through its interdisciplinary teaching methods, enabling participants to draw from the school's diverse academic offerings. Typically spanning two years, the MSHP degree entails completing 48 credit hours along with a Professional Report developed in the final year. This graduate program (or its equivalent) is mandatory for admission to the Ph.D. track.
