The LBJ School partners with the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies to provide a dual degree program that merges comprehensive globalization studies with specialized knowledge of Latin America's political systems, economic structures, and cultural landscapes. This program equips graduates with enhanced career adaptability and makes them highly sought-after by employers across government agencies, private corporations, and nonprofit organizations. Participants can complete both degrees concurrently in roughly three years, receiving their diplomas upon fulfilling all academic requirements for both programs.

Qualification Requirements

The Graduate School requires applicants to have earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or a comparable degree from a foreign academic institution.
A grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or a comparable GPA in upper-division workjunior- and senior-level coursesand in any graduate work already completed is also required.
