This joint program, offered in partnership with UT's Moody College of Communication, merges journalism and global policy studies, blending in-depth globalization research with intensive training to cultivate professional communication abilities. The curriculum addresses growing demands across public and private sectors for professionals who combine analytical thinking, communication expertise, and comprehensive understanding of international affairs. Upon completion, graduates gain significant career adaptability and become highly sought-after candidates for positions in government agencies, corporate entities, and nonprofit organizations. Qualification Requirements

The Graduate School requires applicants to have earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or a comparable degree from a foreign academic institution.
A grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or a comparable GPA in upper-division workjunior- and senior-level coursesand in any graduate work already completed is also required.
