Our department focuses on expanding understanding of human behavior in educational contexts. We prepare students for careers as educators, counselors, assessors, and researchers by developing their expertise in human development, educational psychology, learning theories, and research methodologies. Enrolled students should refer to their Program of Work for specific course requirements and seek guidance from their faculty advisor or Graduate Advisor when clarification is needed. The Educational Psychology Foundation courses provide essential knowledge in the field, covering core psychological principles, historical perspectives, research techniques, and practical applications. These foundational courses must be finished before beginning the Qualifying Process.
