The printmaking curriculum focuses on creative discovery through hands-on practice and examining visual expression. In studio work and discussions, learners explore how to transform, repurpose, and combine images both technically and conceptually. Classes highlight innovative approaches to print arts while addressing current artistic concerns, with acquired skills transferring to diverse creative fields.
Printmaking classes are structured into introductory and upper-level tiers. Foundational courses familiarize students with print methods, technical skills, historical context, and modern equipment. Higher-level classes enable concentrated work on thematic print series, facilitating deeper investigation of artistic processes.
