The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) provides a Graduate Athletic Training Program (GATP) accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) within its Department of Health and Human Performance. This Master of Science in Athletic Training is a 64-credit, non-thesis curriculum that combines classroom instruction, hands-on clinical practice, and research opportunities to equip students with skills for injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation in active populations. The program fulfills requirements for the Board of Certification exam while focusing on advanced theoretical knowledge, clinical techniques, and research methodologies related to sports injuries, medical conditions, and performance optimization.
