The Master of Science program offers two distinct tracks. For admission to either track, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution before the program start date. Initially, The Graduate School makes no distinction between thesis and non-thesis pathways.
NON-THESIS TRACK
Ideal for professionals seeking career advancement without doctoral aspirations, the non-thesis option focuses solely on coursework. This path typically serves students aiming to strengthen their qualifications within their current field.
THESIS TRACK
Designed for future researchers and doctoral candidates, the thesis option involves original research supervised by faculty advisors. Students undertake this substantial project primarily during their second year of study, working closely with their advisory committee.
To be eligible for either, applicants must complete a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by the enrollment date.
English Language Proficiency: TOEFL: internet based - 79, or paper based - 550. A score of at least 6.5 is required on the IELTS.
