The Mathematics Department's core purpose is to generate, explore, and share mathematical knowledge across diverse areas. Achieving this requires engagement in multiple endeavors: conducting mathematical research, delivering comprehensive mathematics education, and serving our community, country, and fellow mathematicians. Instruction We must champion excellent teaching by qualified mathematics professionals. Our teaching mission encompasses varied activities serving different audiences. To fulfill this responsibility, the Department dedicates itself to: Maintaining an extensive curriculum in both pure and applied mathematics for undergraduates, delivering thorough and rigorous preparation for numerous career paths. Overseeing graduate programs for master's and PhD candidates that impart profound, extensive mathematical understanding, equipping them for prominent positions as educators, researchers, or industry mathematicians locally and globally. To apply for admission as an undergraduate student, each international student is required to provide the following:

Complete one required essay chosen from one of seven prompts.
