The UT Martin Department of Engineering equips students with essential skills to thrive in a demanding and competitive industry, paving the way for diverse career paths. The Department of Engineering provides Bachelor of Science degrees in both Engineering (BSE) and Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
To graduate, students must fulfill the university's requirements and the specified curriculum, as well as pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). Engineering students usually complete this examination in their final year.
