By collaborating with Utah College of Applied Technology (UCAT) and Utah State University, your UCAT certificate or credential can count toward earning an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in General Technology. After finishing an eligible UCAT certificate program and gaining admission to USU, you'll need to complete the university's required coursework in your selected specialization. When you graduate, your UCAT certification will translate to 30 credit hours at USU, and you'll receive an A.A.S. degree in General Technology. To see which UCAT certificates and USU specializations qualify, reach out to your nearest UCAT student services office and a USU academic advisor.
