The International Studies program is an interdisciplinary field that equips students for our increasingly interconnected world. Bachelor of Arts Requirements. The degree requires at least 42 credit hours plus 12 additional hours for the mandatory foreign language minor. All general education criteria for the B.A. must be satisfied. The major comprises four components: 1) Foundational courses, 2) Specialized concentration coursework, 3) International experiences (study abroad, travel programs, internships, or practical projects), and 4) Completion of a foreign language minor.
