The department's curriculum helps students grasp the fundamentals of Western cultural heritage. This is achieved by concentrating on classical languages, literature, archaeology, art, mythology, religion, as well as political and social history. These academic pursuits cultivate abilities in analytical reasoning, comprehension, written and verbal communication. Students also gain insight into how collective traditions and individual innovation shape decision-making, along with understanding civic engagement opportunities in our intricate society. Universal Tracking (uTrack) serves as an academic progress system to assist students in maintaining timely degree completion. Staying on schedule requires fulfilling specific benchmarks each semester, called milestones, which involve passing designated courses and/or achieving a minimum grade point average. uTrack regulations apply solely to full-time students pursuing degrees.
