The Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Studies equips graduates for careers working with children from infancy through age 8 in various educational settings. This program trains future educators, administrators, and specialists for roles in childcare centers, Head Start programs, preschools, Early Intervention services, and other environments where teaching certification isn't mandatory. Students learn to implement play-based, developmentally appropriate practices that foster exploration, independence, and social engagement while nurturing growth across all developmental areas. This 120-credit non-certification degree includes a mandatory internship at an approved early childhood facility, which may be completed at the student's current workplace.
Applicants must have completed a secondary schools with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5. English Proficiency Requirement: Minimum IELTS: 5.5, Minimum TOEFL: 61, Minimum Pearson Academic: 44, Minimum iTEP: 3.6, Minimum Duolingo: 95.
