The Department of Biomedical Sciences prepares students for prosperous careers in healthcare by delivering comprehensive instruction in fundamental scientific principles, fostering analytical reasoning, and promoting collaborative engagement. The department conducts hypothesis-based research, values international diversity, and mentors students to become perpetual learners committed to advancing the scientific and healthcare fields. Academic offerings include a Minor in Biomedical Sciences, a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences. The Bachelor of Science program provides a robust foundation in humanities, arts, and social sciences, complemented by specialized study in one of three concentrations: Pre-Health Professions, Biotechnology, and Public and Global Health.
Applicants must have completed a secondary schools with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5. English Proficiency Requirement: Minimum IELTS: 5.5, Minimum TOEFL: 61, Minimum Pearson Academic: 44, Minimum iTEP: 3.6, Minimum Duolingo: 95.
