This full-time program demands 90 credit hours total, combining coursework, seminars, and research. Students typically enroll in 12 credit hours each semester.
Following the qualifying exam, candidates assemble a thesis committee to oversee their research. Most students complete their PhD within six years.
Scientific success depends on communication and collaboration. Our program offers numerous avenues for engagement, including guest speaker seminars, journal clubs, discussion groups, and peer research presentations.
