The Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Applied Sciences enables students to create a customized curriculum not offered through current majors or combinations of majors and/or minors within the Hajim School.
Students can develop an engineering and applied sciences major by combining courses from multiple engineering departments when their objectives aren't well served by existing engineering programs. Each proposed curriculum undergoes review by the Engineering and Applied Sciences Program Committee, which may approve, reject, or request modifications. The committee-approved program establishes the specific degree requirements for each student.
Our students engage in undergraduate research, international study, interdisciplinary majors, and accelerated pathways to graduate education and professional careers. As part of the Grand Challenges Scholars program, the Hajim School empowers students to direct their academic journey by aligning research, global, internship, and entrepreneurial activities around a central challenge.
