Educational institutions, non-profits, government agencies, and businesses of all types increasingly require qualified program evaluation experts to assess their initiatives, policies, and operations. Our program equips students with both theoretical understanding and hands-on skills applicable across education, social services, and corporate environments. Alumni pursue careers as in-house or consulting evaluators for accreditation agencies, help non-profits operate more effectively, assess government initiatives, and influence decision-making in K-12 or higher education settings. These interdisciplinary programs build expertise in evaluation principles while developing crucial analytical capabilities through quantitative and qualitative research coursework. A unique aspect of our curriculum is the final master's project, where students conduct an independent program evaluation. This practical component allows learners to implement classroom knowledge in actual workplace scenarios. Previous graduates have performed evaluations for Rochester schools, colleges, and charitable organizations.
