Florida State's graduate certificate in Measurement & Statistics equips students with crucial quantitative skills that are increasingly sought-after across diverse industries. This certificate program trains students in applied statistical techniques and educational/psychological measurement methods for effective data analysis.
Tailored for graduate students (excluding those in FSU's Measurement & Statistics degree program) and non-degree seeking bachelor's degree holders, the program offers flexible course scheduling to accommodate individual pacing.
Participants master widely-used statistical inference methods, including variance analysis and multilevel modeling within social science research applications. The curriculum also covers classical test theory, contemporary measurement approaches, and fundamental latent variable techniques - all critical competencies for developing and validating assessments.
A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, or a comparable degree from an international institution, with a minimum 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) grade point average (GPA) in all coursework attempted while registered as an upper-division undergraduate student working towards a bachelor's degree; or
