PPRM faculty conduct research programs centered on investigating both substantive and methodological issues. In terms of substance, they study how educational policies and leadership practices influence broader educational contexts, and conversely, how these policies impact individuals within and beyond educational environments. Methodologically, faculty explore various quantitative and qualitative techniques for analyzing educational data, create and evaluate new analytical methods, and assess policy and practice effectiveness. Students in this program will develop a multidisciplinary understanding of policy and practice with a strong emphasis on diversity and equity, while receiving thorough training in quantitative and qualitative research design and analysis.
