The Measurement & Statistics (M&S) program equips graduate students to emerge as innovators in psychometrics and applied statistical modeling research and implementation. For over 50 years since the late 1960s, our program's specialized knowledge has centered on latent variable models and associated quantitative approaches, united by the shared goal of enhancing educational fairness and excellence.
The M&S master's curriculum covers psychometric theory, practical statistical modeling, and effective data communication, with all coursework incorporating R programming. Our master's candidates originate from varied disciplines and career experiences, spanning fields such as: computer science, economics, education, engineering, marketing, mathematics, psychology, sociology, and statistics.
