Our affiliated faculty represent several of Pitt's prestigious schools, such as Medicine, Law, Education, the Swanson School of Engineering, and the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. Interdisciplinary foundation: Students gain comprehensive training in AI fundamentals while exploring specialized research opportunities across fields like computer science, biomedical informatics, cognitive psychology, information science, education, and legal studies. Tailored academic paths: After completing core requirements, students craft individualized study plans to support their unique interdisciplinary research goals. Engaging research community: Regular program seminars feature faculty and student presentations, offering exposure to diverse methodologies while providing platforms to share original work. Dedicated faculty leadership: ISP's accomplished professors, recognized experts in their domains, leverage university-wide resources and active grant-funded projects to support graduate research through mentorship, collaboration, and funding opportunities.
