The Biomedical and Health Informatics Program provides doctoral studies leading to a Ph.D. in biomedical and health informatics. This cross-disciplinary curriculum enables students to specialize in their chosen areas of study, equipping them to emerge as future leaders in biomedical and health informatics. Ph.D. candidates gain comprehensive training in data management, analytical techniques, visualization methods, research methodologies, project coordination, and leadership development. Alumni are equipped for research positions in both academic institutions and corporate environments, as well as executive positions within healthcare organizations, government bodies, and private sector entities.
The doctoral program mandates completion of at least 55 credit hours distributed across five foundational curriculum components, with a designed completion timeline of 45 years.
Applicants must have at least a bachelor’s degree and should have a strong interest in biomedical and health informatics. Previous research experience or a master’s degree pertaining to BMHI is strongly encouraged.
For international applicants: A TOEFL score above 90 or an IELTS score above 7.
