The Full-time Master of Public Administration (MPA) program equips students with specialized expertise, hands-on training, and professional networks to advance their careers in just 12 months. This intensive 9-course, 9 credit unit curriculum features a capstone project and summer internship, tailored for early-career professionals and those transitioning into public service or nonprofit fields. Full-time Fels students join a select group of rising public sector leaders, collaborating closely with University of Pennsylvania faculty and top policy experts to apply academic learning to practical challenges.
Applicants for master’s and doctoral programs must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from an accredited School or University prior to intended matriculation date.
The minimum TOEFL scores required for admissions consideration are: 100 (iBT), 250 (CBT), or 600 (PBT). International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is also accepted and the minimum score for consideration is a 7.
