The Master of Science in Health and the Public Interest (HAPI) at Georgetown University's Graduate School offers an innovative, cross-disciplinary program focused on evidence-based solutions for worldwide health challenges. This curriculum explores healthcare policy by considering social, psychological, and cultural dimensions alongside corporate and institutional impacts. Over twelve months, participants develop analytical and research capabilities to bridge academic disciplines, integrating knowledge from cultural studies, epidemiology, and biological sciences. The program examines how competing viewpoints from various sectors (government, industry, and scientific communities) shape healthcare systems internationally. We strive to develop future leaders in policy, research, and clinical practice who possess comprehensive understanding of health issues and practical skills to advance population health initiatives.
