Culture encompasses the traditions, customs, and creations that influence how people, communities, and societies behave. Communication plays a vital role in forming, sustaining, and sharing culture, as well as in cultural transformation and opposition. Scholars at Annenberg investigate the intricate connection between communication and cultural expressions and their consequences. Working across disciplines, Annenberg researchers examine diverse subjects including health, politics, media structures, digital networks, journalism, race, and gender, employing both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
