The Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Group (CAMB) is a cross-disciplinary graduate program offering intensive education in contemporary cell and molecular biology, equipping students for prominent roles in biomedical research. This unified program encompasses six specialized fields: Cancer Biology, Cellular Biology, Physiology and Metabolism, Developmental and Regenerative Biology with Stem Cells, Genetic Therapies and Vaccinology, Genetics along with Epigenetics, plus Microbiology including Virology and Parasitology. Over 300 faculty researchers from 35 departments participate, representing the Perelman School of Medicine, Arts and Sciences, Dental Medicine, and Veterinary Medicine schools, along with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the Wistar Institute, and Fox Chase Cancer Center. Their scientific investigations span diverse focuses, experimental approaches, and methodologies, positioning them at the forefront of both fundamental and applied biomedical research.
